Think Twice House

Most organisations are further from their own answers than they think.

The partnerships that stall. The culture work that doesn't stick. The leadership decisions that seem right in the room and wrong six months later. These aren't resource problems or effort problems. They are what happens when the thinking that got you here is the same thinking being used to move you forward

Think Twice House works with leaders and organisations who are ready to examine that.

The partnerships that looked right on paper. The culture work that didn't stick. The decision that made sense in the room and created problems six months later. If any of that is familiar — keep reading.

WHERE WE WORK

Partnerships & Business Development

Your partnerships function exists. It is active. But somewhere between the relationship and the result, something keeps getting lost. Deals that should have closed didn't. Collaborations that looked right on paper created more friction than value. The team is busy but the pipeline isn't moving in the right direction.

The problem usually isn't the partnerships themselves. It is the decisions being made about who to prioritise, what to ask for, and what the organisation is actually trying to achieve through them. When that thinking isn't clear, the best partnerships in the world won't perform.

Think Twice House works with organisations to reset that clarity and build a partnerships approach that compounds rather than stalls.

Culture, Inclusion & Training

The programme ran. The training was delivered. People said the right things in the room. And yet the decisions about who gets hired, who gets heard, who gets the opportunity, keep producing the same results.

This isn't a commitment problem. Organisations that reach out to Think Twice House are usually full of people who genuinely want to do better. The issue is that the thinking driving those decisions hasn't been examined. And unexamined thinking defaults to the familiar.

Think Twice House works with leaders who are ready to look at that and change what happens as a result.

THE LENS

What Think Twice House Examines

Most organisations make decisions well. What Think Twice House examines is the layer underneath: the fast, automatic thinking that runs before the decision is consciously made. That is where bias lives, where power operates quietly, and where the most consequential assumptions go unexamined.

The Think Twice lens was built to surface that layer and work with it directly.

IN PRACTICE

Southwark Council approached Think Twice House with what looked like a training need. Frontline leisure centre staff were handling complex situations every day without consistent guidance, without a clear organisational position to draw on, and in a legal landscape that made the stakes higher than most people in the organisation realised.

The work that followed wasn't a training programme. It was a decision quality intervention. Think Twice House designed and delivered bespoke sessions for frontline staff and managers, grounded in real situations from their own experience rather than hypotheticals.

Participant confidence shifted measurably across every metric. The facilitator was rated at the top score by 90% of participants. Every single participant identified further support they wanted. None said they needed nothing more.

About the founder, Shelley Bishton

Most advisers bring either commercial instinct or cultural intelligence. Shelley Bishton built a career on refusing to choose.

Twenty years across News UK and The Telegraph, leading partnerships, commercial growth and transformation at senior level. Trustee of the Black British Initiative. Judge for the National Diversity Awards. A mixed heritage woman who has navigated race, leadership and power in some of the most commercially demanding rooms in British media.

That combination is not incidental to the work. It is the work. The ability to hold commercial rigour and cultural intelligence in the same conversation, without defaulting to either, is precisely what the Think Twice lens requires.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

"Working with Shelley was transformative. She brought clarity to what my business stands for, sharpened the proposition, and introduced real discipline around pricing and decisions. Her mix of strategic thinking and practical action gave me the confidence to rename and reposition the business. A huge asset to any founder serious about growth."

Jordan Jarrett-Bryan

Founder, Just Jordan Media

"Shelley is skilled at building relationships at all levels. She challenges, she works incredibly hard, and she brings so much warmth and humour to any team. She is also very commercial and adept at building partnerships."

Pam MacMillan

Director of People and Culture

"Think Twice House delivered our trans and non-binary awareness training with a level of care, rigour and bespoke insight that genuinely moved the dial for our teams. The feedback from staff was outstanding, and the confidence outcomes spoke for themselves. What set Shelley and Think Twice House apart was the ability to hold space for a complex conversation whilst making it feel accessible, relevant and real. This isn't off-the-shelf training, it's strategic, deeply considered work that brings depth, warmth and lived understanding to every session. We're already planning the next phase of work together."
